The Eby Ranch Company Story
Eby Ranch is a continuation of a family tradition that spans over four generations of ranching history. The Eby family came to America’s Heartland originally from Lancaster County Pennsylvania in the late 1800s. They settled in the Harveyville and Newton, Kansas areas. The Eby family has been serving the great state of Kansas for over a century and is committed to providing quality ranching services to the surrounding communities.
Eby Cattle Company
Top-quality Angus, Simmental, and Gelbvieh genetics are available to produce the very best purebred Angus, Sim-Angus, and Balancer (Gelbvieh/Angus cross) cattle you will find. This method has a proven record in the cattle industry. Dr Harlan Ritchie, distinguished animal science professor of Michigan State University supports the method. “Hybrid genetics are successful in combining reproduction, growth and carcass traits into simple, well-designed breeding programs for the commercial industry… The use of F1 (first cross resulting from two purebred parents) bulls goes a long way toward providing simple crossbreeding solutions.
Eby Corporate Headquarters
The Eby corporate office is located in Olathe, Kansas. This headquarters location serves as the centralized core for the accounting, finance and corporate related aspects of the Eby Companies. The corporate office is the headquarters of the Eby’s other business enterprises, such as Senior Housing, Construction, Architectural, Real Estate and Financial Services.

Mission Statement
At Eby Cattle we strive to breed and market the highest quality of Registered Angus and Angus cross cattle to commercial and registered cattlemen across the country. We have collected the best available genetics in the cattle industry and keep our focus on the traits that made the Angus breed the cornerstone of the beef industry to avoid getting caught up in “fashionable numbers or values”. In addition, at Eby Cattle we keep our eye on the relevant traits such as, physical conformation and functionality, while maintaining a high carcass quality without sacrificing the actual performance.
