Welcome to R&R Cattle Company Web site. It has been an exciting year for our program and we look forward to having the many friends we have made in the Angus business visit our operation and evaluate our cattle. What began as a junior project for our grandchildren grew into an exciting adventure when Susan and I joined forces with Ron Springer a few short years ago.

Showing both the Grand Champion Heifer and the Reserve Grand Champion Bull of 2001 National Western Stock Show was a dream come true for R&R Cattle Company and we especially enjoyed seeing the young Rachel female from our embryo program named the Reserve Senior Heifer Calf Champion of that same show.

Ron's ability to identify and present a champion has allowed us to build a herd based upon proven winners that include two consecutive Fort Worth ROV Grand Champion Heifers in 1999 and 2000 and the popular champions BT Susanna 55F and BT Rachel 97F who, in addition to being popular show winners, carry on two of the top cow families in the Angus breed. We like purple ribbons, but we demand that our show heifers make productive cows!

The dam of our Denver Reserve Grand Champion Gunsmoke is a cornerstone of our embryo program and her two daughters that sell in this sale are two of the top females we have ever encountered. Our foundation Blackcap donor compiled a great production record for our partnership with Beartooth Ranch and Express Ranch and we were pleased to see her go to Holiday Ranch as the second high-selling cow of the 2000 sale at Express.
