Just as the name implies, API's Special Services Department was established in 1985 to assist Association members with their promotion needs. Facing the competition from other breeding programs, other breeds and other meat species requires effective, cost-efficient communication and promotion. Featured services include the creation of custom sale books, brochures and newsletters.

A sale book tells as much about you as it does the animals you are promoting. Sale books that fit the image you wish to communicate represent an important part in a good marketing strategy.
The Special Services Department offers creative art design according to individual tastes. With access to the American Angus Association database, you will have the most current pedigree and performance data available. Mailing service is available for your sale book using the official membership list from the American Angus Association. With a number of options available, you can localize your mailing list to target the breeders who you feel will be the most interested in your animals.
Pricing is based on the number of pages in your sale book, number of photos, usage of color on covers/text pages, and quantity of books you want printed.
Brochures are an economical way of reaching more people for the promoting of your operation or upcoming sale. Brochures can be used as a way for interested breeders to request a listing on your upcoming sale.
