The story reveals Sis caring for her laying hen flock. She is suddenly confronted by Blockbuster, the big black prize Angus bull, who locks the chicken house door and jails Sis for two hours.
This adventurous tale actually happened on Pap and Sis’s farm. Pap and Sis are Mrs. Hedrick’s parents, the late Mr. & Mrs. Earl Groves of Old Homestead Farms, Petersburg, WV. Sis loved her laying hens on the farm, while Pap was most proud of his registered Angus herd.
