Bittersweet Station

Mr. John Bizzack, owner of Bittersweet Station, welcomed tour guests to Bittersweet Station.

Visitor’s will find a true “gentleman’s farm” at Bittersweet Station, a registered Angus operation located just outside Lexington. Johnny Bizzack and his son, John, own and operate the farm, which includes more than 700 acres of rolling hills in Fayette and Bourbon counties.
Bittersweet Station was established in 1994 with the purchase of 30 registered Angus cows from a Kentucky breeder. Today the herd includes 200 registered breeding-age females that represent genetics of some of the top cow families in the Angus breed. You’ll not only be impressed by the beautiful Angus cows at this stop, but also by the attention to detail and maintenance of the pastures, barns and facilities. The employees at Bittersweet Station take pride in the herd and offering customers “straightforward cattle talk” that is backed by customer service.
Bittersweet Station is an active member of the Kentucky and American Angus associations, as well as the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association.
